Did you know our homes are responsible for 18% of Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions? The Canada Greener Homes Grant can make where you live more energy-efficient. What does this mean for your home?
To qualify for this program, you need to follow the program guidelines carefully. We’ve taken the guesswork out of the process and simplified things for you.
Here’s a guide to how the program works:

Contact Ottawa Homes Services to install your recommended HVAC retrofits. We’ll complete your HVAC retrofits and provide you with the documentation required to obtain your rebate.
The government requires that a post-retrofit evaluation be completed to obtain an accurate measure of energy saved and greenhouse gas emissions reduced as a result of the retrofits.
Submit all your required documents online via the Enbridge Gas website.
We hope this guide has helped you better understand the program and that you’ll join us in our effort to reduce carbon emissions. Steps like these will help Canada meet its climate change commitments and reach our goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
